The Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
The Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK) is the sum of professional knowledge of project management. PMI uses this document as the main reference material for its professional development programs. It is the American national standard.This standard describes the essence of project management processes in terms of the integration between processes and the interactions between them, as well as the goals they serve. These processes are divided into five groups, called “project management process groups”. Various areas of knowledge on project management are considered. The processes are divided into several groups.
