“The Grapes of Wrath” is a novel by John Steinbeck published in 1939. The book describes the times of the Great Depression and how people are suffering and families that are engaged in agricultural activities in Oklahoma are forced to leave the city to wander in the hope of finding more acceptable conditions for existence. Natural and political conditions lead people into despair, and makes them struggle with difficulties.In the early years of publication, the book was banned in several states, but over time after a thorough analysis of the book, it was included in the school program of the United States.
